Principles of Change

As you may have guessed, we are all about Change here at Creative Change Associates. We’re not talking about change for the sake of change, but change as a catalyst for growth, performance, and productivity. Sometimes, you have to shake things up a bit to get anything meaningful accomplished. At Creative Change Associates, we have 3 Principles of Change that we use as our areas of focus. These principles, our 3P’s, are the areas where all meaningful change takes place. These 3P’s have a direct result on your work and bottom line.

1.  Purpose:

This is what makes you tick. It is your reason for existing. It’s what wakes you up at night and makes you run for a pen and paper. It’s what can make you start to talk a little louder and with a lot more passion at a dinner party with your friends. Your purpose is why you work where you work in the first place. For some of our clients, the purpose was making cars, for others, it was running entire cities. No matter the purpose, one thing remained the same with all of them: The Purpose is heart of what drives you. Your Purpose is your overarching goal…the greater good you want to make in the world. If you run a bakery, your purpose isn’t ordering the bags of sugar, it’s making the wedding cake that causesthe bride tear up with joy. We want to know what makes you strive for more… that’s your businesses purpose.

2.  Process:

While not as glamorous as the Purpose, the Process is what makes sure that it all gets done. For those without the right Process, you may feel like you are taking the staircase up to the the 137th floor. You know where you want to go, but you’re taking the hardest way to get there. We want to help you find the elevator. To bring about the correct change, Creative Change Associates likes to dive in head first to the administrative and technical steps of your current Process to help you fine tune them, to hone them so that they deliver optimal results.

3.  People:

People are the only appreciating asset that an organization has access to. If you teach a man to fish, he’ll eat for a lifetime. If you teach an employee to buy into the Purpose, they’ll become an irreplaceable agent for change in your organization. They provide your product or service to the masses, they make sure that your Process is running smoothly, and they are living, breathing idea generators who have agreed to come along with you for the ride. At Creative Change Associates, we want to get to know the people who make up your company, and we bet you’ll learn a thing or two about them as well.
